Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE)

Location: The airport is located 10 miles (16km) northeast of Venice.

Transfer between terminals: A free shuttle service connects the two terminals.
Getting to the city: Public transport is available from the nearby railway stations of Venice-Santa Lucia and Mestre-Venice, accessible every 20 minutes on scheduled buses from the airport. Helicopter Venice transfers are possible from the airport to various local destinations including Lido, Treviso, Padua and Vicenza. Car rental, taxi and limousine services (041 522 0884) are also available.
Car rental: There are several car hire companies represented at the airport including Avis, Europcar Italia, Hertz and Thrifty.
Airport Taxis: Both regular and water taxis are available from the airport. An authorised (yellow) taxi cab to the city centre takes between 40 minutes and an hour, and costs upwards of €30.
Facilities: Facilities include lounges/travel clubs, baggage/left luggage, business services, disabled and First Aid facilities, banks, bureaux de change, bars, duty-free shops, a chemist, restaurants and tourist information.
Parking: Long- and short-term parking is available.
